Research Project

The school is making a portable computer lab and I have narrowed the selection down to two laptops that you should consider buying. The two laptops I have chosen are the Lenovo 1450ABU and the Asus X54H-BD1BH. They both are great laptops for the price and should be well worth the money spent.

The first laptop is the Lenovo 1450ABU. It is a good laptop that has received 4.1 out of 5 stars on 23 reviews. It has a 15.6" LED-backlit HD widescreen display. It has 1366 x 768 screen resolution to make everything you watch or do extremely clear. It has a 4GB memory so it can hold tons of information. It can also be expanded to an 8GB memory to hold even more information. It has a 320GB SATA hard drive that can run up to 5400 rpm. This laptop comes with an AMD Dual-Core E-450 processor for fast computing. It operates off of the Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. It has a 6-cell lithium-ion battery. It weighs about 5.2 pounds for easy portability and has a cost of $299.99 which is relatively cheap for a laptop.

On the other hand, we have the Asus X54H-BD1BH which has received 4.2 out of 5 stars on 12 reviews. It has a 15.6" LED-backlit HD widescreen display with 1366 x 768 screen resolution, the same as the Lenovo 1450ABU has. It has a 4GB memory which is expandable to an 8GB memory, which is also something these two laptops have in common. It has a 320GB hard drive that runs up to 5400rpm that offers an amazing amount of storage. One of the differences between these two laptops is the processor it uses. Unlike the Lenovo 1450ABU, the Asus X54H-BD1BH uses an Intel Pentium Processor. It has a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. The software that is included is Adobe Reader and Power2Go v6. It has a 4-cell battery so its battery won’t last as long. It weighs in a little heavier at 5.8 pounds. At $349.99 it would be another wise choice for the school to make.

In conclusion, I am recommending...
