1. Introduction

There is a growing need for Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) to strengthen its fundraising and branding by developing strong corporate partnerships, due to the instability of the global economy. This report aims to analyse the existing problems plaguing Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO), and suggests two attractive sponsorship collaboration proposals to help establish a stable pipeline of corporate sponsors. It will also discuss the objectives and potential benefits of our proposal.

2. Objective

Our first objective is to identify current strengths and weaknesses in SCO’s existing sponsorship programmes. This report will analyse the programmes using statistics from previous financial reports of SCO, single out events and activities that are not generating much revenue, and provide suggestions on how they can be improved.

The second objective of this report is to recommend 2 proposals to the SCO committee. These collaborative proposals with external business entities will achieve the goals of the SCO and help it to carve out a distinct identify for itself.
