Introduction

Human intelligence is one of the most controversial areas in psychology studied over and over by scientist for centuries. Yet there is no universal clear definition of what exactly the intelligence is. Most of us use mental ability thousand times a day not even thinking about where all abilities or decision come from. But if we stop for the moment, think about it, and try to explain what we do every single day, and how we do it, it comes to our mind that this is our intelligence and its adaptation to all the challenges of the outside world.

We would think about intelligence as a general problem solving skills, including the abilities, but not limited to; learning, understanding, being self-aware, as well as communication, knowledge and problem solving. Those abilities generated by mental side of our brain are crucial for us to survive. They can improve throughout our life, giving us new appropriate experiences, new skills and abilities that may potentially increase our chances and opportunities to achieve our goals which eventually could play a huge role on the success in our life.

For many years psychologists and scientists had been contemplating on intelligence, experimenting on animals and humans, researching and testing our abilities to find a perfect explanation of how exactly a human brain interact with the outside world, what does intelligence mean, how to evaluate it and finally how we can improved it.

Intelligence as a mental ability has been defined in many different ways by scientists and researchers, we can find numerous different definition of the intelligence throughout books articles and other sources.
