Now, Then, and Later

Iam applying to the undergraduate school of Literature, Science, and Arts. When I started envisage careers, I based my strategy on two things: something I can understand or be decent at and something I can never grow out of, that is medicine.

Since I started my path in high school, I started getting more and more interested in science. It has always been my favorite subject since then to study and build upon. Unlike other classes, it is something that I can really enjoy learning. Furthering my experience in Science by taking AP Biology and AP Chemistry will help me further scrutinize and extend my knowledge on these studies. The areas in science that attracts me the most are Anatomy and Physiology. Studying the human body and how it works is very gratifying; the more I learn, the more I enjoy it. A degree in science would proceed my path in the medical field.

My attentiveness in science also came from my family and relatives. Most of my relatives are doctors, which made me want to be them. I want to help people and relieve their pain. Having many doctors in my family made me glimpse other doctors and see how they are dedicated to their jobs. It is a great job in every countenance; the great education we get, the salary, and the help it provides to the community.

I know that the University of Detroit mercy will help me amass my goals and let me evince myself. It will also help me consummate my fullest potential in my areas of studies. Having an opportunity to attend such a university would be a great honor. As one of the top universities, as well as a leading medical school, I feel that the University of Detroit Mercy will familiarize me with the real world of medicine. The fastidious courses will allow me to meliorate my strength as well as sharpen my weakness. The competitive environment will metamorphose me into the competent person that I someday hope to be.
