Leadership Philosophy

As a leader, I am charged with a sacred trust and privilege: the responsibility for those soldiers within my organization.

• Our most important resources - good leaders / trained teams / ready units

• Build for the long term - take care of your people

• If you can’t do it safely, then don’t do it

• Integrity above all

• Good planning begets good training

• Understand requirements - communicate them - attention to detail - follow-up

• Engineer solutions - don’t succumb to problems or routine - see a better way

• Persistence is the key to success

• Be responsible - admit mistakes and correct them

• Make a difference every day - enjoy your job - have fun!
