How do we undertake the study of the African Experience?

Abstract:

Throughout history, Africans have lost their value of living in the way of their ancestors do the fact that the European want to keep their history alive by corrupting than installing their history into the African minds. From corrupting the African’s land, body, and mind, the future of Africa is still in the stage of European colorization. To understand the African Experience, we will go through the history of how language and equality have shaped and changed the African history by the European mind.

Critical Review of Scholarship:

Through the first weeks of class we’ve brought up topics of how Africans were the first to not only come up with ideas and but the languages that modern times have forgot where their ancient languages derives from. Something Torn and New is one of my sources that I will be using to answer about how languages come into role in African culture and other sources include, Fisher v. United, which will help me compare how modern education time has changed.

Something Torn and New states how Europeans main goal was to overwhelm and take over the African culture by imprinting their culture and ways of living into the hearts and soul of the Africans. Something Torn and New would also show the value of how important language is to the Africans and how Europeans took and strip their history through colonization and taking over the African history.

The Fisher v. United “Standing for Whiteness” case was about how a white high-school student didn’t get admitted to University of Texas-Austin do to fact that the University wanted to keep the ratio of ethnicity equal. Fisher’s lawsuit is based on a claim that any consideration of race by a university in admissions violates the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.
