CONCERT REPORT (600 – 800 words)

“Do you know what the unplugged concert is?” If I was asked this question three days ago, I probably would ask back, “Are you kidding me? No light? No microphone? No accompaniment?” Until this Thursday, I took part in an unplugged concert myself and I was just aware of what the unplugged concert is. Actually, this kind of concert has all necessary electronic devices. The only difference between it and the original concert is there isn’t any electronic accompaniment during the whole concert. Normally, many stars hold the unplugged concert to initial the environment protection and energy conservation. However, this time, besides these, the group named The Milk Carton Kids and an independent musician named Tom Brosseau show me another spirit of the musicians who work at the unplugged concert.

The concert is been set in the M-shop which is located in the Memorial Union. It is a small and little dark concert. I wasn’t until late that I discovered it was a very suitable place to hold an unplugged concert. The dark and quiet environment set off the voice of the folk guitar, a light lilting voice like a silver bell. I think I was lucky that I could hear this Hors d'oeuvre concert in such a fantastic environment.
