1. Global market is the company tried to expand their products across the board while the local market is about the people in the company and the customers. The company will have to think outside the box which is global but it has to act local by taking care of the people who buy and sell the product. This is because business- to- consumer brands have more value but also challenges. A consumer in business- to- consumer generally sensitive while choosing their brands. With this in mind, someone who thinks internationally is still a product of his or her own culture.

Stan Shih figured that Acer will have benefits of the regionally local markets recommend to companies operating in their own home turf. Besides, that is better and easier to work with market that shares the same characteristics than moving the product to a dissimilar region that do not share the same culture, socio-economic trends and also customer buying behavior. These rewards offered by China not necessary as an advantage against Lenovo, but as a benefit to other competitors in the PC business.
