MEASURING CHART 1. HEIGHT ............................

The sleeve length, along with a person’s height, will determine whether a short, regular or long fitting is required. This measurement is taken with the coat off, and the arms are straight down at the sides, Imagine a line running across the top of the shoulder. To allow for the thickness of the shoulder pad, measure from 1/2” above this line straight down to a point 3/4” below the wrist bone. This is the sleeve length.

Most people know their weight. It gives a good guide as to general build. Helps create visual picture of person.

This measurement usually determines the coat size, The measurement is taken with the coat off, around the body. Place the tape well up under the arms, straight across the back, over the shoulder blades and over the chest in the front. Insert a finger between the tape and the body to ensure proper ease and record the measurement.

Measure the shirt collar unbuttoned. Place the tape around the neck at the height the collar would fall if buttoned. Take the measurement with one finger between the tape and the neck to ensure proper ease.
