Four Hand Piano

There was a wonderful Jeunesses Musicales present the Fung-Chiu Duo on September 21,2012 at 7:30pm in the Sean O'Sullivan Theatre in Brock university. Philip Chiu and Janelle Fung are the performer of the concert. Philip Chiu was born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada(Toronto and Londo, ON).Janelle Fung was born in Vancouver, she began to learn to play the piano from the four years old. In the concert room, there was a black triangle piano at the stage of the center and a piano seat beside the piano . All of the audiences very exciting and looking forward to the concert held successful.

West side story is an Amercian musical with a book by Arthur Laurents, with music by Leonard Bernstein.It was inspired by William Shakespeare's play Romemo and Juliet. During the concert, my mind floating out a few images.One of images from Mambo movement. Mambo is a 4/4 beat of the music , swat occur in the second and fourth beat and a Latin Amercian dance similar in rhythm to the rumba. When I hear Mambo sound, I seem to see that Tony and Maria dance together forget anything(two gangs to be at daggers drawn) , they fall in love and try to kiss each other. On the other hand, Cha-Cha bring me an exciting emotion during the concert because of Cha-Cha sound is very cheerful ,gripping and fast rhythm.. Cha-Cha is a genre of Cuban music. It has to be a popular dance music and widely popular throught Cuba and New York. Mambo and Cha-Cha created vivid images and emotions in my mind.
