God's Message Today

Ecclesiastes 5:2

"Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before

God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore let your words be

few. "

Attitude is everything.  Some people exude attitudes that can be plainly seen when they enter a room.  They are on a mission, a personal mission to enlighten the world on their innate wisdom.  They are on the lookout for mistakes, carefully marking and planning the appropriate time to lash out and help an unsuspecting victim.  They walk tall, shoulders puffed, knowing full well they are put on this earth solely to enlighten every path they pass.

Sadly, feelings of self-worth are fulfilled this way.  At times this is due to an issue that relies on self assurance.  Maybe they lack their own personal gratification for doing a job well done.  Or, they feel so high and mighty that they are the only individuals who can perform the task well - with utterly no mistakes.  Often they are nwilling to allow colleagues to aide them in any business matter for fear it will not be up to par.

Besides human stature, attitudes rest mainly in words .  Ecclesiastes states, "Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before

God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore let your words be

few. "  Let your words be few.  That is something to ponder.  It is difficult for words to be few if we are on a mission to correct things that irritate us.  How is your attitude?  Are you easily irritated, quick to reprimand?  How do you carry yourself?  Are you easily approachable?  Do people have a tendency to steer off path when they enter your space?  How are you at home?  Are you untouchable?  Aggravated?  Easily frustrated?
