The book tells us that the ruler before to be loved it need to be feared, respected, has to use the force, armies themselves that not only provide security against other principalities, but also against their own governed, force, violence are appropriate means to ensure stability, permanence in the principality or government. Virtues as chastity, kindness, honesty, temperance, would be desirable together, headed by a prince or ruler, unfortunately, nature does not allow them reside in a single ruler.

A ruler must maintain a strong, robust, against its managed, even the vices, such as greed, plunder, cunning unhealthy, and are in some cases allowing strengths to stay in office. The Prince must extract the necessary premises to cope with a changing world.
