The reading “Wanted Men!” by Randol Fawkes explains in detail how the islands of The Bahamas is lacking the required men to take the forefront to lead and ensure that the islands are being properly taken care of. He explains that the leaders of today are nothing but “wolves in sheep’s clothing” and that the islands need the men to unite and create results that are worthwhile. He later explains about how the roads of today are far more inferior to the roads that were constructed years ago. The schools are a reflection of neglect and with its lack of space, and qualified teachers, where are room for the youth of today to succeed? Furthermore there is a lack of doctors and hospital space on the out-islands which can lead to dire consequences. He later explains that the value of currency is vital to the communities’ health but the money isn’t properly being circulated. Lastly Randol Fawkes tells the citizens of The Bahamas that men with a voice, strength, great leadership qualities and skills and also those who can defend for themselves is what will make the future leaders map out and create a blueprint on how The Bahamas can develop throughout the later years and that those are the men that they should choose to be leaders of the nation.

Randol Fawkes in my opinion, single handedly nailed the hammer on the head revealing what the nation needs and how they can make this change happen.

According to Randol Fawkes, “Our greatest need today is MEN” is something that I can whole heartedly agree with. It’s the men of the nation that will be the leaders and when we are blinded by the lies, our eyes will not be open to the fact that some of the men of today’s nation are crooked and should not deserve the title of a leader. By allowing material worth to cloud their minds and distort their judgment, they allow the simple things to turn into catastrophic disasters.
