Modern developments in Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) sequencing technology allow comprehension of the genetic variations that exist in assorted population samples. As a result, developments are being made to provide an economically sustainable means of doing research on human genetics. Some of the core projects related to Next generation sequencing include the famous 1000 Genomes project, exome sequencing schemes and the cancer genome atlas1 (p.8). The intention of these projects is to explicate genetic spectrum in the context of human character. This would further help in unveiling architectural morphology of human diseases through examination of the structure of the human genome. The capability to investigate the intact genome with impartiality would enable medical researchers understand variations in ordinary infections as well as the nature of mutants 2(p.492).
