Why I decided to go back to college

I decided to go back to school to obtain my MBA when it dawned on me that middle management corporate career was not my calling. My final decision was when I discovered that what I was doing with the 40+ hours of my life each week was not fulfilling. My days no longer excited me and I was not eager to perform my daily functions. I know that I can't go back in time and live life over again but I can take control of it and make plans for a new future right now. I don’t want to be stuck in a dead-end job or just want to advance in my current job. I want to get my MBA to get the training I need to achieve success. These are some of the reasons why I decided to pursue my MBA.

Many people stop their education short and vow to go back to school one day. I know that many of these people never make it back. Jobs, family, and many other factors hold people back from the future they have always wanted. Others feel that it is just too late to go back to school because they don’t feel like they have time in their busy lives. This is not going to be me.

I decided to go back for my MBA so that I can give myself the future I deserve. In the age of technology, I knew that there were schools which work around my schedule. Therefore making it possible for me to obtain my MBA.

Moreover, higher education is critical to getting ahead in the world today. The competition is fierce and inexperience only inhibits people from doing what they want to do. Going back to school gives people the edge they need to compete for the career of their dreams.

According to the Nation Center for Education Statistics, over two million American adults go to school every year. Not everyone goes back to school just for career purposes. There are many other reasons why it’s a great idea to go back.
