Decision Making Process
Everyone under the sun has to make decisions, not just one but several a day and hundreds a week, millions a year. Some of the decisions are as simple as do you want vanilla or chocolate ice cream, as opposed to the harder decisions to make such as do you want to continue to live in the same state that you are living in, one that you had just moved back to in hopes of finding a better life, but unforutunely didn’t or do you put aside your disliking to the place that you moved from and move back because it actually had a way to survive. This is the decision I had to make 7 months ago. I will go through the process of decision making and what lead up to my final decision.
First let me tell you about the decision, my fiancé, my 3 year old son and me; which I was 7 months pregnant at the time with our second son had moved back to North Carolina in October of 2011. My fiancé had gotten hurt on a four-wheeler wreck in June of 2011 and had broken his collarbone; he wasn’t released back to work full time until September of 2011. At that time we had gotten into debt, we barely had money rolling in and we were looking at getting evicted out of our house because the landlords didn’t want to wait on the 2 months of rent we were behind. his collarbone still killed him when he went back to work and where he is a tree cutter cutting away power lines ride ways, he has to be in constant motion with his arms holding a chainsaw all day, and he just couldn’t take it, he put up with it because he is our sole provider for our family, but it got to be too much, so with everything that we were looking at we decided to move back to our home state of North Carolina, hoping we would find it better there. However that didn’t work, we couldn’t find jobs, and with looking at another baby we had to decide if we wanted or needed to move back up here to Virginia. Here is the process that we went through,...
