As we get older all of our bodies will change and will be more sustainable to injury and sickness. Today there are more diseases that could happen to older people because of their lower immune system which helps fight disease. Some examples of this would be like if there was a cold going around in school and some kids got sick but most kids didn’t it would be because of their immune system, but if the same cold went around when the same kids were a lot older than they would be more susceptible to the disease because of how their immune system is not as powerful/ effective as it used to be.
2. When we are dehydrated, we are thirsty and drink water. Is this part of negative or positive feedback control systems? Explain your reasoning. That is why it is important to stay hydrated. It is basically the same thing as hunger our body is telling us that it need nutrients and there will be consequences if we don’t.
