INTRODUCTION

This report provides financial analysis on the basis of profitability, liquidity, activity and financial structure ratios. It analyses and compares Pfizer’s current and past financial performance in contrast with one of Pfizer’s biggest competitors GlaxoSmithKline together with our recommendations for Pfizer’s future financial strategy which would enable the board of directors to make more informed decisions.

Within this report we aim to provide objective analysis of Pfizer’s current operations and how they could be improved to sustain and increase its market share.
