I am happy to announce that Lucy Fabrics has seen progressive financial growth since January of this year. The company, for the first time in four years, has made a profit.

You, the workers, are the primary reason for our success. We have all efficiently worked together to keep Lucy Fabrics’ doors open, customers served and our jobs secured. Similarly, we have all believed in ourselves to keep operations going. Our parent company, World Corporation, has believed in us as well. Over the past four years, World Corporation has had to invest more into Lucy Fabrics then they have seen profits, totaling to almost $2 million. However, they did so because they believed in our company, our employees, and our business. World Corporation knew that we could get to where we are today. In order to keep this positive momentum going, we need to keep management salaries and worker pay at the same levels until we can show the owners that we can make continuous profits month after month. As long as we continue together as we have for the first half of the year, I am confident that we will be able to increase our current profit margin for the remainder of the year and reap the rewards of our success.
