Initiating structure – Before the elections, She had a task of addressing an entire population with diverse background anxieties and goals. She did so by presenting a vision, of what it meant to be British. She pursued that vision in a focused, unfaltering manner and ensured that her cabinet/team was completely aligned with her. Any disagreement or second thoughts were dealt with sternly. Considerate – On being elected as head of opposition ‐ She walked a fine line on the one hand she strove to be inclusive, she tried to keep rival conservative leaders within the ranks and was deferential to those who might have been trying to oppose her leadership. Thatcherism She was called “iron lady” by Russians as they considered her to be a cold warrior.
