Banana Bread Recipe! :)

Ingredient Food Group Nutrient Group

1 cp all-purpose flour Other Fats

1 tsp baking soda Other Fats

1/4 tsp salt Other Fats

1/8 cp nonfat plain yogurt Milk Proteins

3/4 cp brown sugar Other Fats

2 eggs, beaten Alternatives Proteins

2 1/2 cups mashed overripe bananas Fruits Carbohydrates

1/3 coconut oil Other Protein

To me I think this recipe is good because I didn’t even have to change a lot of the ingredients to make it healthy. One of the first reasons I chose this was because I wanted a recipe that needed healthy foods like fruits so I thought of Banana Bread, it doesn’t depend that much on the sugar because the banana is also naturally sweet. Another reason its good is because it uses brown sugar instead of white but the truth is it’s only healthier by a little bit. Secondly it uses low fat yogurt which contains less fat and tastes almost the same and it fits in the dairy group so it can replace the milk. Most recipes need salt, baking soda and all-purpose flour to turn out nicely. I cut the total amount of salt to ¼ because before it was 2/4 which I thought would be too salty. I got rid of the butter because I searched up if there was a healthier choice the answer was to add 1/3 of a cup of coconut oil which is also good for you because it has lots of anti-accident. Those are the reasons I chose this recipe!
