2. Reduce and centralize the servers in the IT wing of the Administration Building.

3. Reduce the number of and centralize the Internet connection for the entire campus.

4. Establish a server to control faculty and staff network access, as well as to issue IP addresses for all devices that can use a dynamic IP address.

5. Establish a server to control student network access inside the buildings, as well as to issue IP addresses to these devices.

6. Establish a single IP addressing scheme for the entire campus.

7. Prevent interaction between the faculty and staff network and the student network.

2. Will the current horizontal cabling suffice for the new network? No if it will not, what type of cable should be used for the horizontal cabling? I would say the type of cable should be used for horizontal cabling is Plenum Cabling which connects telecommunications rooms to individual outlets or work areas on the floor, usually through the wire ways, conduits or ceiling spaces of each floor. Also, I would say plenum is an open space found above a building’s dropped ceilings, and it is often used for air circulation in heating and air-conditioning systems. Provide detailed specifications for this cable. (10 points)
