This letter is to express my interest in bringing my years of expertise in accounting to your firm. I was notified of the job opening in your company through an online search. I was excited to learn that your company is searching for an accounting assistant, and would very much like to be considered as a strong candidate.

I am a graduate from Butler University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. I have interned at multiple firms and have just completed my graduate schooling. I have very strong math skills as well as problem solving skills. I am very accurate at trouble-shooting numbers. I am in the process of earning my CPA. I also have a minor in computer programming. I graduated from Butler with a 3.4 GPA.
