UNILEVER
INTRODUCTION TO UNILEVER:
“Helping people get more out of life”
Unilever is an Anglo–Dutch multinational consumer goods company. Its products include foods, beverages, cleaning agents and personal care products. It is the world's third-largest consumer goods company measured by 2011 revenues (after Procter & Gamble and Nestlé) and the world's largest maker of ice cream.
In Pakistan, Unilever made its debut in 1948, and today it is one of the most prominent multinationals in the country operating through two affiliated companies viz. Unilever Pakistan and Unilever Pakistan Foods.
In a history that now crosses three centuries, Unilever's success has been influenced by the major events of the day – economic boom, depression, world wars, changing consumer lifestyles and advances in technology. And throughout we've created products that help people get more out of life – cutting the time spent on household chores, improving nutrition, enabling people to enjoy food and take care of their homes, their clothes and themselves.
