Starbucks is one of the most successful and infamous
companies in the world. It was established in 1971 by a man by
the name of Howard Schultz. At that time, coffee was only fifty
cents and was a morning habit like diners and fast-food.
I think that Howard Schultz was really took care in
analyzing the retail operations and marketing. Also, he tried to
find and fix all to the companies weak points and made his
strong points that much better. Now, Starbucks has become one of
the largest coffee franchises due to the fact that Howard
Schultz was determined in his mission and never stopped thinking
of better marketing techniques and more efficient ways to
approach his customers.
Starbucks has a number of strengths that contribute to its
success including: the store’s locations, having a significant
quantity of stores including international store, the quality of
the employees service, customer service, a comfortable
environment in the store, good product quality (drinks and
food), the free WIFI service, try new style of service and
continuing to create new and better products. Those strengths
are the reasons that Starbucks is able to continue to prosper
and grow into a stronger business.
There were only 17 Starbucks stores that existed in 1987;
however this number was increased up to around 10241 stores in
