Club IT is a music venue and nightclub located downtown and is owned by Lisa Tejada and Ruben
Keys. The owners went into business together and have successfully operated the club, introducing
their clientele to local talent as well as performing themselves. Although Lisa and Ruben have managed
to use their college background to run the business, the process of managing and growing the business
has presented certain challenges that over time could develop into major problems, setbacks and
could have an impact on the business as a whole. The staff has indicated that to become more
productive and efficient, systems need to be implementing when dealing with resources, customers and
the supply chain and vendors.
After interviewing the staff and listening to their concerns I have determined that the Rapid
Application Development method is the best method to address these concerns with the day-to-day
operation of the business. This method will produce a high-quality system because it is combined with
JAD, prototyping and integrated CASE tools, and the new system can also be developed at a much faster

progresses. During my IT analysis I have noticed that there are three business problems that can be
solved by using the Rapid Development Method. Software such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP),
Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Supply Chain Management (SCM), will also help
manage the business efficiently and work with the issues associated with their IT status.

at Club IT. The owners indicated that their main clientele is mostly Net Generation and
Millennials, and that on a regular basis they use mobile technologies such as Blackberries, PDAs, camera
