Six Dimensions of Health Worksheet

Part 1

For each of the following six dimensions of health, list at least one characteristic, activity, belief, or attitude that reflects that dimension in your life. Provide a brief explanation with each example. Refer to Ch. 1 in the text for explanations of these dimensions.

Physical health: Physical health is your appearance and how you maintain fit and stays physically active. Physical health allows you to do your daily living. Size and shape will be good example of physical health. I need to do daily work out prior to my due day so I can have a smoother delivery process.

Social health: Social health is how you interact with other people and able to act the appropriate behaviors needed toward the situation. If the social life is not health not only it can impact how you will behave and represent yourself in society. Social is really important for me not only I get to have other people in my life but I can also learn the different between people.

Intellectual health: Intellectual health is the ability to have clear mind and have reason and common sense. This is what helps us to learn throughout our mistake. This is what guides us to make the right decision. I m currently pregnancy so I have to keep my intellectual health in check to ensure I don’t touch any chemical or do anything that will rise to harm my baby.

Environmental health: Environmental health is how we want to maintain our surrounding, preserve and improve it for a better environment not only to us but also to people around us. Will you like to live in a dirty house or work in an office that is unorganized or clean? I m sure none of us does, and I m sure none of us will like our baby to grown up in an unclean environment.

Emotional health: Emotional health is how you feel toward others. We all come to a point at life that someone will say something you dislike. But we have to be able to control our emotions and...
