This success is due in part to Fred Turner, a Mc Donald’s executive, who created a production system of unusual thoroughness and attention to detail. Although Mc Donald’s staffs care about the health of their clients by applying the rules many people got sick by eating Mc Donald food and between 1982 and 1992 Mc Donald has received over 700 complaints.

Fred Turner had understood those simple concepts in the early 1958 and that is why he put together the seventy five pages manual for the company use. It was so important that operators who disobey those rules lost their franchises.
