In 2010, the high-end equipment manufacturing industry in China has a sale revenue of about 1.6 trillion yuan which accounts for about 8% of whole amount of the industry. Planning expressly to 2015, high-end equipment manufacturing industry sales revenue will be more than 6 trillion yuan which is up to 15% in the equipment manufacturing industry. In 2020, the sales revenue will continue to increase. The industry account would increase 25% of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry training and it will become a pillar industry of the national economy. Endogenous power of China's industrial development is not strong, the main reason is that in Europe and the United States the capability of independent innovation is weak. It has high dependence on foreign trade and the industry concentration is very low. There are not enough large enterprises which have international competitiveness. Divorced from the development of technology and equipment, the integration of technology with equipment will both increasingly united with each other. The structure is irrational and a high proportion of low-end products have not yet found a point of balance between the speed of scale, quality and efficiency. The industry's extensive mode of development has not yet been a fundamental change.

The rapid economic growth in the middle period of industrialization in China will support the needs. High-growth is inevitable, when the demand growth slowed down after the mid-and late industrialization. On the other hand, the quality should be improved. Machinery production accelerates the innovation-driven, strategic and emerging industries. The high-end equipment manufacturing industry will gradually become a new support point. The machinery industry has transferred from the rapid growth of medium-speed growth period which follows last year’s downward pressure in 2013.
