Pre Assessment

Part I.

I have admired many people in my life but I would have to say my mother has made the biggest impact of all. I believe my mom is a very inspiring person; the reasons are endless. She has been through multiple hardships through-out the course of her life. With all of that she still manages to have an upbeat personality. From my point of my view she has become wiser, stronger and more loving.

The things that I have learned from my mother and continue to learn are amazing. She has taught me all the principles of my life, and for that I am eternally thankful. I learn many different things, I believe many of them I observed by example. I wish to be like my mother in most, but not all. My mom has taught me to base my decisions in life not solely on the examples and actions of others but on what I gather and learn from the example and actions of others. In other words she has taught me not to follow blindly but make my own decisions on what I think is important.

My relationship with my mom is something that I treasure above everything else in my life. We are able to play and joke like young children, also have serious conversations like mature adults. I think that is what makes our relationship truly special. Also I believe that is what makes me admire her.

To me my mom inspires me the most. She is a very caring and trustworthy lady; she gives me strength in my heart to do whatever I put my mind to. She inspires me to do things buy example. My mother is admirable when I see how her generosity makes others feel; also how good it makes her feel because of their reactions. From that example it makes me want to do something so I can experience the same feeling. My mother always makes me want to create goals for myself, chase my dreams, and help others. I would like to make a change in people’s lives just as my mom would.
