Crime Reporting and Rates Response

What is the purpose of major crime-reporting programs? The reporting programs are made to provide data for all law enforcement agencies, sociologists, and legislators to study the pattern of a crime. Most of the information is used to measure the effectiveness of the programs such as how police officers use their strength and weakness in communities, use sociologists to study the behavior of a specific crime, and legislation for appropriate penalties. What makes a successful crime-reporting in the United States? This is what makes a successful crime-reporting agency? Accurate reporting with agencies, clear guidelines, and reporting from state to state. Crime rates are reported by the crimes committed and multiplied by per/unit in a specific community 100.000. It is in the reporting database where the crime rate is not as accurate because the law enforcers recognize a higher number of crimes that goes unreported in the United States. The arrest time is calculated by the number of arrestnin a population 100.000. It deals with number of offenders that has been caught and processed for entry in the justice system. Crime rates relate to arrest rate by the (NCVS) National Crime Victimization Survey and (UCR) Uniform Crime Report. The thing is the higher the crime rate the higher the arrest. The bigger the population the more crime and arrest it will have. To combat criminal activity the police department must have the most accurate data sent by the UCR to deploy their officers.
