I. Introduction
In today’s corporate world supervisors play a big role within a organization or company. It is important for supervisors to understand the roles that they have to play and level of management they are in. In a supervisory position, this is usually the third level of management in an organization or company, with direct communication with upper management and staff.
Supervisors have very important responsibilities which include but are not limited to the following: staffing, planning, organization, and making sure work is being controlled. These areas of responsibility for a supervisor is broken down into 6 different areas and can help a supervisor succeed.
In this manual the six areas that will be discussed to help a supervisor are as follows:
