Before I start, I would like to show you some of my analysis regarding the financial performance. I would like to show you the analysis by doing the comparison between 2008 and 2009. Here, I will start by showing to all of you regarding our financial statement for 2008 and 2009. From what we can see here, in 2008 we manage to gain net profit RM669,257. However within this year till 31st of March, our company incurred net loss RM1,818,137.

Next, I will stress about gross profit margin and net profit margin where both of them decrease tremendously. Even though, these two term were decreasing, our sale show an increment from 2008 until the first quarter 2009.

Supposedly yes. However, the reason why we still incurred loss is too much spend in compensation paid to the clients due to the shortage of CPO. Now, to make you clearly understand, I will show you the breakdown of the compensation.

Based on this table, you may see that the variance for December 2008 and January 2009 are too material compare to the others. Based on that, i can roughly say that the main reason for this problem is because of paying too much in term of compensation to the clients.

What I want to stress here is, compensation paid due to shortage of CPO when the tankers arrived at the respective refineries. The tankers are loaded with the amount stated in the delivery order. However by the time, the tankers arrived at refineries, the quantity delivered are short. So the client may complaint toward these matter. So, what we can do to satisfy their needs is by paying out the compensation to them based on the variances between the amount stated in the delivery order and exactly amount received by the clients.
