Group Learning:
We learnt the difference between a group and a team; and how the members of a formal group gets emotionally connected within themselves and help each other come out of their comfort zone and perform better in their task, complementing each other.
We came to know about each others’ strengths and weaknesses while discussing the case. Responsibilities were allocated in our group members accordingly.
We learnt that how Tuckman’s Theory plays significant role in a team/group, even our group unknowingly followed the model
• Forming: Being from same section we knew each other formally but after formally being in a group we knew each other as everyone projected themselves in the group. It wasn’t much problematic for us as everyone was comfortable with each other
• Storming: We didn’t have any conflict in our group. We were more organized and gave our inputs properly without criticizing each other. We had different opinions and we discussed it in all extremes so that we can reach to a better opinion.
• Norming: We finally discussed relevant tasks of the case and their allotment to the members respectively. Then we all divided the work to be done making everybody contribute with their maximum inputs expected to pop in.
