Subject: Introducing teleworking in the workplace

As we begin to look at the possibilities of introducing teleworking within the organization, it is necessary to make sure that teleworking has the support of everyone in the organization.

To effectively implement teleworking, a plan must be established. Goals and objectives should be established to set as the base for all information that will be conveyed to employees. The organization needs to inform the employees of what teleworking is and how it will affect their ability to perform their daily job duties. Employees need to know why the organization is promoting teleworking and what they will gain from the teleworking experience.

As you may already know, implementing teleworking is not going to be an easy task. We will need to get our service providers such as telecommunications, the budget department and property management involved in this process. By getting the organizations service providers involved, it would be a good idea to brainstorm how to run a teleworking pilot. I think a pilot study would be a great way for employees to try teleworking and to communicate with us about their experience.

Our organization values our employees, and I believe introducing the opportunity to telework would not only be beneficial for the employees but also to the productivity of our organization. I am eager to get started on this project and look forward to working you and our service providers.
