Literature review:

A code of conduct is basically a set of rules for specified circumstances that become a standard for all who participate in the group and represent themselves outside of the group. Every organization has its own set of rules that govern how it expects its members to act. The International Federation of Accountants provided the following working definition:

"Principles, values, standards, or rules of behavior that guide the decisions, procedures and systems of an organization in a way that (a) contributes to the welfare of its key stakeholders, and (b) respects the rights of all constituents affected by its operations."(reference)

Educational code of conduct is a rule book of what a student can or cannot do in the institution premises. It carries the same principal like any other code of conduct. The main objective of it is to direct the students into the the right path and ensure a proper ethical environment.

Here are some few things we need to know about the code of conduct of an educational institution-

* Provide direction to students around expected conduct whilst affiliated with the University;

* Assist students in dealing with ethical issues in ways that reflect the University’s values and standards;

* Promote professionalism and excellence;

* Express shared assumptions and organizational values;

* Provide students with direction in ethically ambiguous situations;

* Detail the University’s social responsibilities.

Human resource is the set of individuals who make up the workforce of an organization, business sector or an economy.
