Abstract

This research study is on the capacitive analysis of obtaining an education from public verses charter schools. This research will discuss the history of public education and the ongoing problem this country is having educating students in public schools.

The major problem that will be discussed is students are not learning the proper skills to ensure them a future in this country. The problems that will be discussed are literacy in K-12, dropout rates, and violence in the public schools.

This research study will also include an analysis on charter schools and the growing number of charter schools. This will attempt to explore the theory “Will charter schools save our public education problem?” In conclusion, this research study will summarize all findings and attempt to make a recommendation for our failing public school system.
