1) Study the following situations and state whether learning has taken place or not. Justify your answer backed by proper theoretical base:-

a. Vishal is learning swimming during his summer vacations.

b. Geeta was influenced by the moral stories she had read in her childhood and practices those whenever she gets a chance to do so.

c. You are the HR Executive in a leading MNC in India. You and your colleagues have been taught how to implement complicated software on compensation management, newly introduced in the market. You are not very familiar with computers but are very much interested in the software. After the training is complete, although you are interested and excited to use the software, you are not able to practically implement it in the company.

2) Shalini, Dev and Vinita were colleagues, working in the Finance department of J&J Associates Pvt. Ltd. Previously they were working without any computers and prepared the accounts in pen and paper. But due to technological development in the market and to be at par with the competitors the company introduced the use of computers and software, Tally, to maintain the accounts faster. Thus, Shalini, Dev and Vinita had to take training in computers along with their other colleagues in the Finance Department. Suppose you are the trainer and you eventually find out that while Shalini understood more with pictures, Dev was more comfortable with the practical sessions. On the other hand Vinita could easily learn from the written notes and oral lectures provided.
