1. Reflect and describe which key concepts and topics in this course have made you a stronger candidate to enter the business world.

Throughout this course I learned that Finance is all about how money are managed and the process of acquiring the funds. One of the most important concept learned is that of the time value of money."A dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow" if invested. Then I realized the importance of having accurate financial statements. They are used by managers, by lenders to evaluate the likelihood of collecting on loans; and by stockholders to forecast earnings, dividends, and stock prices. To be a strong candidate in the business world I have to understand the environment and markets within business operate; how capital is raised, securities are traded and stock prices are established, the role of interest. Another interesting concept learned was about bonds and type of bonds that companies and government issue the terms built into bond contracts, the procedures for determining bond prices and rates of return, and the types of risk bond investors and issuers face. To be ready to make investments I learned the procedures that are used to measure the risk of investing and stock valuation. To be able to invest there is a need for capital to take on investment projects and it has a cost that is equal to the marginal investor's required return. The last important concept learned was about capital budgeting and the relationships between capital budgeting and firms cash flow and value of its stock. Also is important to know about the effect on the debt risk.
