In the 21st century there are many aspects in entertainment that have a huge effect on society. There was one show that I believe catches all the aspects of college life and how it effects society and the college life style. Blue Mountain State a comedy the first aired on Spike TV on January of 2010. The main idea of the show is to focus on the football aspect of college life but also gives the idea of what college kids go through. The show covers the topics of hooking up with people, binge drinking, parties, hazing and also gets into the school work aspect of college life.

Craig Shilo, A freshmen running back who was last year’s high school national player of the year, but unlike Alex Moran and the rest of the team he is focused more on school and passing college and doing the right things then drinking all the time and trying to get girls. And Thad Castle, a junior linebacker and captain of the team, who is known for his hazing and homoerotic behavior, thinks that there is nothing else to go to school for...
