Introduction
As per your request, management is aware of its antiquated communications system and lack of current information technology, and Dirt Bikes Inc. has asked for an assessment and our recommendations for more efficient and cost effective means of communicating inside and outside the organization, and the acquisitioning for information relating to the motorcycle industry, the latest technology and design information as well as constant up-to-the-moment data about the global economy.
The following are suggestions that would bring Dirt Bikes up to current standards for Management Information Systems (MIS) and procedures. Additionally, these suggestions are geared for improving business management infrastructure and technological ability both internally and externally that would result in improved customer relations, and increased employee productivity and morale, as well as significantly improved internal and external communications between departments within the organization. Furthermore by implementing an updated MIS, all relative data from all of the various departments would be stored in one database where it can be accessed immediately. Businesses that provide the supplies and services for the line of products this organization manufactures and promotes can be better monitored and tracked, thus improving supply chain information and procedures. Our recommendations are as follows:
