Definition of Multiple Intelligence
Intelligence is defined as a composite of general and specific abilities, characterizing an individual’s level of neurological functioning in the context of his effectively applied experience and manifested in his dynamic coping with the challenging for adjustment which he makes in day-to-day living (Bustos,103). It so basic to our view of human nature that any characterization of a person that neglects to mention that person’s intelligence is considered incomplete. Our mental capabilities affect our success in school, the kind of work we do, the kinds of recreation we enjoy, and even our choice of friends (Atkinson,247).
