Non-verbal communications: Differences between Asian and Western Cultures

Introduction

Non-verbal communication is very important to help you know how you can communicate with some cultural differences of countries around the world. We contact with other people every day. But we don’t always understand what they are thinking or they don’t understand our thinking clearly. Non-verbal communications is the effective method to help you solve this problem. If we don’t know it, we may experience repeated failures: losing to the competition, job interview, failed dates. But if you can hone that skill, you can know to read people better, have more effective communicate. That knowledge will help us in each situations of our life. Our life begin more exciting career opportunities, more honest friendships, have better dates and more frequent wins at work. Moreover, we sometimes have a relationship with people who form the other countries in the world, we will also need to know the different meaning of their gesture in various cultural. And differences between Asian and Western Cultures in non-verbal communications is the way to help our will success in life. The range and variety of nonverbal signals is almost endless, but you can grasp the basics by studying six general categories: Facial expression, Gestures and posture, Vocal characteristics, Personal appearance, Touch, Time and space (Courtland L.
