Discuss whether you disagree or agree with the narrators actions at the end of the story, cite at least three reasons to justify your response and explain each one is a full, well written paragraph.

The story Revolt of the evil fairies was an example of racism. People find it imperative to split to skin colors apart but, we are all human and I find it unfair to take a person and treat them with such disrespect. Perhaps in the past during a war or a religion we would see such disrespect, but in this story it’s more than likely just because one group is different than everyone else. Here is my outlook on how the narrator acted on the story.

I agree with the narrators actions for it was made very clear to me it was an act of self-defense. Although the narrator may have been more violent than he should have been for a more ordinary fight. His life was not in danger, but I feel the narrator had fairly attacked for self-defense and therefore had an excuse to attack the boy. But the narrator and the boy eventually ceased the fight and finished the play.

I believe because the evil fairy had to be the darker shade of African American and to me the plot was not appropriate because they where indicating that blacks were evil and whites where good and kind and this is racism and he should have done something, though violence is not the answer to all of his troubles. Thus time though violence was necessary. So the narrator should have used violence to solve this problem.

I agree, because the narrator should have been prince charming in the first place, and once again self-defense is more important. So he should have punched for self-defense. But it was possible for revenge in a different manner. So though I don’t agree with violence for revenge… I agree with self-defense. So the narrator used violence in an appropriate way.
