McBride Financial Services Marketing Plan

McBride is looking to expand its customer base and needs ideas on what to put in its new marketing effort. McBride is wanting to target individuals that are looking to buy a new home. They offer low rates, and information needed for buying a home. Important areas we need to focus on are what market research to undertake, what type of media we can use, and McBride’s target market. What we need to look at first is what McBride will have to offer. McBride Financial Services will be the preeminent provider of low cost mortgage services using state of the art technology in the five state area of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

The first thing we need to figure out is what market research to undertake to reach McBride’s goal during this expansion. McBride target market is professionals purchasing either a primary or secondary home, retirees purchasing a primary or secondary home, and families/individuals purchasing recreational properties. The marketing will need to be focused on these individuals to maximize time, and effort. I believe that McBride is looking for easy to approve applicants. McBride will be looking for applicants that will be easy to approve for home loans. Their target market will focus on solution, information, value, and access instead of the 4 P’s. This approach is more focused on the customer, and their needs. McBride isn’t targeting other businesses, but instead individual people.

The media outlets that McBride will try to take advantage of is Local Television ads, Local newspapers, handouts at the airport, local radio shows, and local realtors. By using the above-mentioned outlets McBride will be able to reach many different demographics.
