“Is Apple the New Microsoft?”

This article is not talking about if Apple has replaced Microsoft, but rather are they head in the same direction and position Microsoft is in now. For a while now Microsoft's stock has been steady no major up or downs. In this time period it is about staying new and in. Microsoft has tried several products that just have not appealed to the public. Apple seems to be getting in same position. In reality Apple hasn’t made a new product, they’ve only updated their already successful products. The new Ipods, the Ipod minis, the new Mac, Mac minis, and the Iphone 5. Just like Apple competed with Microsoft and won, there is no doubt to investors that there will be a new company will innovate new and better products, it is just a matter of time. There is already competition against various Apple products, like the Ipad which other companies have made or the Iphone's big competitor: the Samsung Galaxy SIII. Microsoft is still around and still being widely used it may not be coming out with the latest and newest but it’s doing more than just hanging on. No thanks to it’s Halo games, which are doing great in the gaming world. I think Apple will do the same, it will always be here. Apple has become a product of status and even if it does not continue to make more Iphones and Ipods (which I think it will) it will still be successful, after all it has Itunes. This is related to class, because a couple of days ago we talked about Apple’s stock prices and how ridiculous they were being over their 2 billion decline. Apple and Microsoft may not be making more money than they expected to make but they are still doing great. In conclusion this world is changing everyday, everyday there is something new and better, and I have no doubt that Apple or even Microsoft is looking forward to jump into whatever the future holds for technology.
