Subject: Researched proposal progress report

SCOPE AND PURPOSE

As tax laws continue to become more complex, more and more individuals are looking for reliable CPA’s they can turn to for help wading through the tax world. Our main office has become very successful and I believe that we can expand and make our two satellite offices full time operations as well. I have been conducting research into the opportunities to expand our clientele and build up demand for our other two offices. I have focused my research on areas of advertising and marketing that will be most cost effective and most locally recognized in the communities of our satellite offices.

PROGRESS

I have begun researching all the different marketing options available from newspaper ads, radio, to mass mailings. I discovered that it was difficult to determine the best option for our offices just based on the types of marketing alone. To develop the most profitable business relationships I used the assumption that we would want to market our services to young business men and women that have established their business but are still continuing to grow themselves. From this clientele we could get the business taxes as well as the potential to get the personal taxes of the business owners and staff.

ADDITIONAL WORK

I have to conduct additional research on the most effective way to reach this clientele base. In today’s technological age the newspaper is quickly become an ancient commodity for advertisement. However, without researching the numbers for all marketing Medias I cannot be fully sure of the best avenue for our marketing appeals to use.

REMAINING QUESTIONS

While I am conducting the research I am assuming the most cost effective media marketing possible, but I am still not sure whether we might be served better if we use a larger chunk of our advertising budget for one of the pricier...
