Abstract

This is a survey on Internet usage among staff and students from Shelton College International. This is a quantitative research, 30 samples from Shelton College International has filled up the questionnaires. All the data from this research were from these 30 samples. And the main ideas of doing this research is to show the pattern of meeting online friends, and also the usage of internet among students and staff in Shelton College International. After the analyzing all the data, it turned out that the most common using on the internet among samples in Shelton College International is, listening music, social networking sites, online TV and web browsing; the least using on internet is online shopping, online gamming and online shopping. This research also shows that male samples are more willing to meeting online friends in actual life than female samples.

Chapter 1: Introduction

1.0 Overview

This is a study on meeting online friends and Internet usage among staff and students in Shelton College international. This research consist of 30 students and staff from Shelton College international, 15 males and 15 females.

1.1 General Objective

To explore Internet usage and meeting pattern of online friends between gender among staff and students in Shelton College international.

1.2 Specific Objectives

I. To show the meeting pattern of online friends between genders among staff and students in Shelton College International.

II. To analyze the pattern of Internet usage among staff and students in Shelton College International.
