When we look at social trends in the café world we see that people now days are looking for more premium blends of coffee they are looking for nice snacks or quick meals and a place with a nice atmosphere, good music , and free WiFi. With setting up a new café we need to see about our location depending on our location we need to know who we will be serving. With the changing cultural balance, come all kinds of new influences on the market and products such as new values attitude and ideas. The changing in the value system of our society has created a new trend that has vastly affects the way people shop. As we look at the Social trends we find that people are guided by the desire to have nice thin yet pay very little or it.

As we know people in this economy truly shop with their finances involved. When it comes to looking at the economic trends that are attached with opening a new café will be Inflation and the economy itself. When we look at inflation we are not just looking at how much our product cost to sell to the customer we have to look at how much it cost to make our product where we get it from how is it shipped to us. Case in point if it cost more for the farmer to farm our coffee beans then our Price would rise If it cost more for the truck to deliver the coffee our price would go up. In an area that is not looked at wisely if the dollar was to fall in value we would have to pay more. And in order to make a profit we will have to charge a little more to our customers. The other main issue we will have to keep monitoring is the economy. When jobs are high and the nations is growing people are willing to spend money in our café. When things are bad financially people tend to evaluate what is a necessity and what is a luxury. What we need to do is find a way to show our product as a necessity something they cannot go without.
