Executive Summary

Papa John’s is a widely known pizzeria founded by John Schnatter. Considered as the third largest pizza company in the world, its main focus is to deliver superior-quality pizzas made from fresh ingredients. Upon this objective, the slogan was born “better ingredients, better pizza”. According to the company website, the core values of Papa John’s include: customer satisfaction, accountability, employee attitude, and constant improvement. At Papa John's, there are no compromises to the freshness of the dough, high quality ingredients and superior quality toppings combined with daily fresh-cut vegetables in the kitchen. Papa John's offers pizza lovers a warm, comfortable, relaxed and welcoming dining experience they will enjoy.

In the Philippines, Berjaya Pizza Philippines, Inc. is the official and sole franchise of Papa John’s pizza in the Philippines. 

History

Back in high school, John Schnatter worked at a pizzeria and noticed something lacking – pizza delivery. He kept that idea in mind and made sure that his idea will turn into an innovative reality. In 1983, after he earned his business degree in Ball State University, Schnatter rented his father’s tavern and turned it into a pizza delivery place. His idea was a success, and a year later, Schnatter opened his first Papa John’s restaurant. To this day, there are approximately Papa John's restaurants all over the world. This includes 2,600 establishments in the United States.
